Woah, I have not posted in over a year!!! It's been an absolute ride in getting this little bespoke service company on track and I'm so happy to report we're doing SUPER WELL with 2 happy wine filled years under our belt! We've built a portfolio of happy private clients, worked with hot local F&B establishments, visited vineyards and expanded to working with 20 wine vendors in Hong Kong for our selections. A wonderful two days tasting and learning more about La Bastide Saint Dominique from Rhone region. We began with a trade tasting at Mira hotel, and an especially fun wine dinner at the UPP Golf Club. Yes, we played with PGA coaches while intoxicated at the state of the art stimulator. Here's a few picts of me entertaining my friends (hysterically laughing) while I tried my best to hit the ball in between a 100% Grenache Chateauneuf-du-Pape and dessert (in quipao and mid heels of course)!

Some of you may already know this, I actually am also a jeweler! I have a life long career in design and began my small label Pearly ten years ago moving to Hong Kong. Over the years I've refined from collection and bespoke, to only doing bespoke fine jewelry. We began sourcing gems from around the world also since last year. My entry into wine actually began in finding different bubbles for my jewelry parties "Pearly Baubles and Bubbles", in which I have done many years prior to moving my operation to London. Fast forward to this year, we celebrate an amazing 10 years as a business. This is the very first event where I'm able to marry my two businesses together.
We had an incredible premium champagne tasting in studio, followed with a wine tasting dinner at Black Salt to help find the best pairing with their food. Here're some fond memories that were made with our long time clients and partners, who are also becoming our clients in wine. I feel incredibly fortunate and grateful to continue to do what I love. I was such a good kitten and went to wine class by MW Debra Weinberg during the Restaurant and Bar Week! Today's awesomeness at the RnB fair, back to back master classes with Debra Meiburg MW. First ones were beautiful elegant Austrian wines; followed with hip, cool and old school, earthy Georgian wines. Surprisingly drinkable. More importantly, now I know what is going on with these bearded gentlemen! I crazy love this illustration, cracked up laughing for some reason... (Fun fact: a Tamada is a toastmaster in a Georgian supra, a feast or a wedding, yup the dude with the horn who'd keep toasting till everyone's drunk... Yup, that guy).
